Indigo Crimson Ajrak Shawl

The Indigo Crimson Ajrak Shawl is woven from a silk-cotton blend and finished using Sindh's traditional Ajrak block-printing process — a laborious sequence of resist-printing, dyeing, and sun-drying that can take over a dozen steps before the fabric is ready. The deep indigo ground and crimson motifs are among the oldest color combinations in the craft, historically worn as a mark of Sindhi identity at weddings and festivals. Wrapped as a shawl, it carries that same sense of occasion — a textile with real regional history draped over the shoulders.
