Hand-Woven Ivory Pashmina

Pashmina comes from the fine undercoat of Himalayan mountain goats, combed out by hand each spring in quantities small enough that a single shawl can represent the yield of several animals. The Hand-Woven Ivory Pashmina is spun and woven on a traditional handloom in pure pashmina wool, left in its natural ivory tone rather than dyed, which is typically how the finest grades of the fiber are presented. The weight is deceptively light for how warm it is — a quality that's hard to replicate in blended or machine-loomed versions.
