Ajrak Motif Coasters

Ajrak is Sindh's signature block-print — a resist-dye technique using hand-carved wooden blocks, natural indigo, and madder root, built up over multiple washes and dye baths until the deep crimson-and-indigo geometry emerges. These coasters take that centuries-old textile pattern and translate it onto a hardier everyday surface, so the motif that traditionally wrapped shoulders and turbans now sits quietly on a coffee table. Each set is cut and finished by hand, keeping the slight irregularities that mark it as genuinely block-printed rather than machine-stamped.
